February Recap

Hi everyone! Wow, February is done?? I can't believe it; it feels like just yesterday I was awake the whole night waiting to scream 'Happy New Year!'

Feb was quite good, even though I had to study the whole month. My tests ended in the first week and my exams were announced immediately so I had no break from studying. Even then, I was able to do some fun things.

Here are the things I did in February!

Leisure- Books&TV

One of my resolutions for 2021 was to read at least 5-6 books each month. I read 6 books in January, however, in February I could read only 4 books 😟.

  • Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring- J. R. R. Tolkien
  • To Kill a Mockingbird- Harper Lee
  • Around the World in 80 Days- Jules Verne
  • The Merchant of Venice- William Shakespeare
I really enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird (it was on my TBR for way too long!). Around the World in 80 Days re-instilled my love for Adventure Fiction Novel! And Merchant of Venice was thought-provoking 😁. However, I couldn't enjoy LOTR as much as I wanted to😐. I started reading Kim by Rudyard Kipling yesterday.

I couldn't watch many TV shows or movies, but I did start watching Cosmos: Possible Worlds on Disney+. It is a mind-blowing documentary series, hosted by Neil DeGrasse Tyson. The show reveals previously uncharted realms, including lost worlds, worlds yet to come, and the worlds that humans may one day inhabit. A voyage through the history, present, and even future of science, which shall leave you in a thirst for knowledge!

Studies

This was something I did a lot of. As I said, my tests concluded on Feb 3rd and then the next week we got the exam portions! My exams will be conducted in March and I hope that I do well!
Until then:

Also, I have a post on some exam tips, hope you find it to be helpful.

Bloggin'!

The best decision I've ever made was probably to create this blog. At first, I wasn't very active on the blogosphere, occasionally posting my writings and not interested to socialise. But then, I found some really outstanding teen bloggers who inspired me to put myself out there and make new friends. I follow a ton of blogs and find new ones every day; here are some of my most favorites:-

I published three posts in February. Aiming for at least 4 in March.

I have some news! I created another blog called Jovial Pages on WordPress! *cheer and confetti*
I will be posting all kinds of cheerful and positive things! Do check it out ;-)

Snippets

At the beginning of Feb, my mom and I visited Visvesvaraiah Museum. It is my most favorite place in the whole of Bangalore! An abode of Knowledge!! Every time I go there, it feels as if I learn something new all the time (even though the exhibits don't change). Later that day, we had lunch in Cubbon Park and came back home. What a fun day!

My cousin came over for a sleepover for a whole week! We had loads of fun (and fights😂)! We went out for walks every day, shopping, and even went to a restaurant after quite a lot of days (AKA, before the lockdown). That week was bliss!

MARCH!!

Hello March, I hope you'll be good.
As of now my goal for March is just to do well in the exams and not be too stressed out. I would like to post more often on both my blogs and try to read a few books. I want to start the Divergent Series. Maybe read The Picture of Dorian Gray or Great Expectations...

Well, that's all. I hope you liked this post! What did you do in February, what are your goals for March? Let me know in the comments!!😁

Have a wonderful day!

    1. Thank you Quinley! LOTR is very complex; I was confused most of the times but J. R. R Tolkien did a great job! :)
