Fear

Everyone is afraid of one thing or another. Sometimes the fear is too much that it can stop one fro doing their daily work, but sometimes we can overcome our fear. In this time, fear is present everywhere. And we must try to control our fears before they take control of our lives.
In this poem, I have tried to express how one feels when they are afraid...

Fear

It appears as quiet as a mouse,
Lurking in the field of joy
A small view or a thought
Unleashes a moment from the past
Or a flow of eccentric speculation

Deep breathing, thundering heartbeat
The noise echoing throughout
Self-doubt and decreasing esteem
Imagination conquering the brave spirit
Slashing the adventurer
Into an inundation of sweat and arid throats

The same thought threatens to reappear
Camp on the tip of the mind
And be stationary

It makes even the deadliest viper
Prance around like a puppet
Gripping the power
With remains of determination

Untimely, beyond-repair decisions
Making one cringe till the end
Can even transform an Angel to Lucifer
Just by a thought

Fear a thing we hold so dear
Can bring a platter of dust
Or a bag of delights...
